19th Century Testimony

Emma transcribed the testimony written in the 19th century for me. I greatly appreciate her excellent work. I wanted to know what the residents said about an incident then and was struggling to read many parts of the testimony. With her great help, I now have a much better understanding of what they said. I find it very helpful for my research!

PRO Late Medieval C documents

Emma has been extremely kind and speedy in helping me decipher the very complicated secretary hand used by clerks and other bureaucratic minds during the late 15th century. The complicated nature of the language did not deter her and she came out with incredible results! Like a previous reviewer said, the duration was far less than anticipated! I also would not hesitate to contact her again!

1617 indenture

Emma transcribed this for me in good time, with great care for the original flavour of the text and for any parts that were unreadable. She was able to correct my imperfect understanding of the writing, including the date, a useful and successful transcription - important to me, as this seems to be the only document in existence recording the marriage of two direct ancestors.

19th century will

Emma undertook the transcribing of a will dated 1831 for me. Communication throughout the process was excellent, I provided the document as requested, Emma quoted me a price and she then proceeded with the work. The actual time involved was less than she had previously anticipated, and this was reflected in the cost which I thought showed a high degree of professional integrity. I have no hesitation in recommending Emma and won't hesitate to use her again.

18th century material

Emma undertook to transcribe a number of different eighteenth-century documents for me that I would not have had the time to do myself. She did an excellent job; professional, accurate and courteous. A pleasure to work with, I'd highly recommend her!

Archive Research

Emma undertook making digital copies of records at the Warwickshire Archives as I am overseas and unable to do this myself. I had identified the required files, and Emma was very helpful and undertook the work promptly and professionally. I highly recommend Emma for any projects at the Archives Office.

19th Century Letter

Emma did great work making sense of the illegible handwriting of one of my ancestors. She provides friendly, quick and accurate services at very reasonable cost. I recommend her highly.

18th & 19th Century Wills and documents

Emma has provided me with transcriptions for several Wills dated to 1799, 1826, and 1837 as part of my genealogical research. Emma also assisted me with transcribing asylum case notes dating to the mid-19th century as part of an additional request. Emma's services were quick, detailed, accurate and reliable. A definite recommendation for anyone in need of transcription services for historical documents.

16th century will

Emma finished off a will translation from the year 1571 that I'd been having serious problems with. To me it could have been Latin, but Emma sorted it out and made sense of it. By email Emma was friendly, prompt, and happy to help me. I would highly recommend Emma.

Bond document

Emma completed a translation (from Latin) and transcription for a C18th bond document as part of my house history research. Emma was friendly, prompt, and happy to help with a few follow on questions. I would highly recommend Emma.
